“Happy National Living Donor Day! What a perfect opportunity to celebrate our birth tissue donors! As if it’s not miraculous enough that our donors bring another life into this world, our placenta donors extend the miracle of life to others. A single placenta can be used to help up to hundreds of patients in need of burn wound care, eye surgery, back surgery, dental surgery and more. Witnessing the generosity of our donors up close is such a privilege. Our donors offer powerful healing to complete strangers. I can think of no greater act of kindness.”
